Bridget has been in the funeral service as a managing funeral director and embalmer in the Kansas City area since 1996. A native of Coon Rapids, Iowa, she graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, in 1994 with a degree in Accounting, and is also a 1995 graduate of the Mortuary Science program at KCKCC. She has been married to her husband, John, since 2000 and they make their home in Shawnee with their two cats. She enjoys reading, hiking, exercising, traveling, and volunteering in her spare time.
Bridget is passionate about helping others in their time of need and recognizes the importance of making every service meaningful.
Susan joined the Park Lawn Corporation as the Administrator for Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery in 2020.
She grew up in Topeka, Kansas and moved to the Kansas City Missouri area in 1988.
Susan has served on many different boards such as PTA, Altar and Rosary, Friends of Oak Grove and Freedom of Road Riders. She has over 20 years of experience as an administrator.
Susan is the mother of 5 and the grandmother of 10, so in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her oldest daughter and family who live nearby in Belton and traveling to see her other 4 children and 8 grandchildren who live in 4 different states. She also enjoys reading, bowling, photography and riding her Harley Davidson.
Miranda Walker graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College, with a degree in Mortuary Science in 2017. Miranda has been a licensed cosmetologist since August 2003. She worked as a Makeup Artist, until deciding to further her education in 2011.
Born and raised in Emporia, Kansas she relocated to Pleasant Hill, Missouri twelve years ago, with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, and friends. Her hobbies include camping; kayaking, traveling, and watching her children participate in sports.
Mark has been with Johnson County Memorial Gardens since August 2011. He is a Kansas City native and a graduate of NW Missouri State University with a degree in horticulture. He has worked in the grounds maintenance industry for 35 years. Hillcrest C.C., KCMO, and Arbormasters Tree and Landscape, Shawnee Kansas, serve as bookends to his 20yr stay as the Grounds Maintenance Superintendent with Quivira Falls Community Association, Overland Park.
Megan joined the death care profession in 2018 as a Family Service Counselor, later being promoted to Funeral Director after completing her license in 2021. She is excited to be working for Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery as well as Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, helping and educating her hometown communities. Megan is grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve families who are struggling with loss as she aspires to continue making a difference in people's lives with her care and compassion. She met her loving husband in 2013 marrying him in 2016 gaining a full family with 3 stepsons. Megan is currently raising her family in Lee's Summit, MO where she was raised herself.
Megan has a strong presence in the community and volunteers for several local organizations. She is a member of the Lee’s Summit High School Music Parents and Booster Club, an Ambassador for the Grandview Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce with a focus with the military affairs committee and is Past President of the South Kansas City Rotary club.
Megan Graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2009 with her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. This is why she believes in bringing customer service as a priority in her profession and takes pride in honoring each family she serves with comfort and trust. Following this, she continued her education with Stratford Career institute getting a certificate in Funeral Service Administration to better help her understand her craft. She is currently enrolled in the Mortuary Science program at Arapahoe Community College to finish her education to become a licensed embalmer.
Paige was born and raised in Clarinda, Iowa before moving to the Kansas City area to pursue her education.
In her free time she likes to spend time with her boyfriend Quinton, exercising, and reading. Paige is passionate about taking care of each family and making each service the best it can be.
Laura, a California native, moved to Kansas in 2019 following her husband's enlistment in the Army. During their time at Fort Riley, she found her calling in the death care profession and has since devoted herself to assisting families in their time of grieving. She also aids families in making their own prearrangements.
In her free time, Laura enjoys reading, playing video games with her son, having tea parties with her daughter, and watching movies with her husband.
Nicholas brings a warm and caring approach to his role as a Family Service Advisor. With a background as an educator and insurance agent specializing in helping seniors select Medicare Advantage plans to suit their individual needs, he's passionate about helping families plan for the future. Nicholas specializes in guiding families through the prearrangement process, so that they can make informed decisions and have the peace of mind that their loved ones will face fewer emotional and financial stresses during the time of a loss. His goal is to help families focus on a meaningful celebration life and remembering their loved ones so they can grieve in a positive way. Nicholas's dedication and compassionate nature makes him an invaluable part of our team, always here to lend a helping hand when it's needed most.
Harlan Breedlove came on board with Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery in 2019. He was raised in Platte City, Missouri. He is raising his 3 boys in Lee’s Summit, MO with his Wife Megan. He has worked in Customer care for over 13 years.
He enjoys comic books, movies, and traveling with his family.
