Zelma Jean Daugherty, 84, of Lee's Summit Mo., passed away Saturday, December1, 2012 at her home. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday December 4, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer's Longview Funeral Home.
She was born August 29, 1928, in McDonald, Ks., to Lloyd Archer and Edna (Terrell) Archer.
Zelma is survived by her husband Boyden Daugherty of the home, five children, Steven Miller of El Cajon Ca., Galen Miller of West Palm Beach, Fla., Sheryl Brackett of Belton, Mo., Rick Daugherty of Springfield, Mo., and James Daugherty of Kansas City, Mo., 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Fonda Moore of Blue Springs, Mo., Thelma Raile of St Francis, Ks., and Clara Abel of Buffalo, Mo., (Arr. Newcomers Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S. Raytown Rd.
