Wilma Reid

Wilma Reid, 80 of Grandview, Missouri, died on February 24, 2018. She was born September 5, 1937, in Willow Springs, MO to the late Rex and Christene (Anderson) Brown.

She married Jack Reid on December 1, 1954, she worked for the Grandview School District as the cafeteria manager, retiring in 1998 after 27 years of service. She enjoyed puzzles, ceramics and painting.

She is survived by her husband of 63 year, Jack Reid Sr. son Jack Reid Jr., grandchildren: Rick Hinojosa and Cameron Nations; great-grandchildren, Leah and Bailee.

In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her daughter Debra Nation and her sisters Betty Phipps and Judy Burks.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1, at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO.
