Mr. Willie Willie" Johnson
April 25, 1944 — December 8, 2012
Willie Johnson affectionately known as "Uncle Willie" was born to Joe Nathan and Joanna Harris-Johnson on April 25, 1944, in Catron Mo. He went to elementary school in Parmo MO. He attended high school in Malden, Mo. He moved Los Angeles, CA. He served 26 years in the Army. He trained as a chef after retirement. He worked as a chef in some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the city. He served his community feeding the homeless through Harvesters Food Pantry as volunteer until his death December 8, 2012.
He was the third of eight children. He had one son who preceded him in death. He leaves to morn him; his mother, two brothers and five sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
