Wendell McClymond

Wendell McClymond, 92, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Wendell was born January 18, 1922 on a farm near Deepwater, MO to Clarence and Estelle McClymond. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force serving in and after WWII as an airplane mechanic. Wendell enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing and always had a love for repairing cars. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Thelma and 3 siblings. Wendell is survived by his 3 children, Dian McClymond, Phyllis Williams, Robert McClymond, 4 granddaughters, Kristanna Silva, Muriel McClymond, Stacy McClymond, Robyn McClymond, and 2 sisters, Ruth Kidney and Esther Mortensen. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 29, 2014 in Longview Cemetery, 12700 S. Raytown Rd. KCMO.
