Vincent Sokolaski

Vincent Joseph Sokolaski, 68, of Belton, Missouri passed away on June 11th, 2019 at Kansas City Hospice House.

He was born December 25th, 1950 in Saint Joseph, Missouri to William and Francis. Vincent spent 25+ years at Marion Laboratories where he worked alongside amazing people and made some life-long friends. Vincent will be remembered by family and friends as a devout Catholic, a father figure to many and someone who always put family first. He enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course, fishing at the lake, and most of all spending quality time with his family, especially on the holidays.

Vincent is preceded in death by his father, William Sokolaski; his mother, Francis Stanaway; and his brother, Randall Sokolaski. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Sokolaski; son Vincent Sokolaski, Jr (Mindy); brothers, Michael and Dana Sokolaski; and his two grandchildren, Eric Sokolaski and McKenzie Quinn.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W 119th St, Leawood, KS 66209. Interment will follow at Longview Cemetery.
