Troy Edward Shankles Jr., 54, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2017, surrounded by family. Troy was born October 26, 1962, to Troy and Velta (Sorbit) Shankles, in Layton, Utah. Troy enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed his music and his Denver Broncos. Everyone knew him for his smile and big heart.
Troy was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Michael.
He is survived ¬¬three brothers; Greg Shankles of Joplin, MO, Byron Shankles, of Belton, MO, Jeff (Kate) Shankles of Annandale, VA; two sisters, Debbie (John) Spencer, of Kansas City, MO and Stacy (Ramiro) Noboa, of Olathe, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services immediately following at 2:00 PM, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO. Share messages and memories with the family at www.LongviewFuneralHome.com
