Troy was a Finish Specialist for Compi Distributors and was a man who lived life to the fullest. Whether it was racing Baby Grand stock cars or riding or building motorcycles, Troy had a zest for life, his friends and family, and always had a smile on his face. We will all miss hearing him describe the time he beat Carl Edwards racing.
Troy died doing what he loved, riding with lifelong friend Jim Stohr. He was surrounded by people he loved, and didn’t go without a fight.
An informal reception will be held Saturday July 11 from 2-4 PM at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd Kansas City, MO. Immediately following a celebration of life will be held at Troy’s favorite spot, T-Bones Bar and Grill, 27900 CO HWY 8-S, Lee’s Summit, MO.
The family asks that you bring your finest stories of Troy and that, when riding, you wear a helmet. Donations in his name to the Autism Society of the Heartland in lieu of flowers encouraged.
