Ret Air Force TSgt Emory Terrill Corbin 84 years went home to our Savior on February 12, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. Visitation at Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery 12700 S. Raytown Rd from 6-8pm, Friday, February 15. Services Saturday February 16, 10 am, Burial immediately following at Longview Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Corbin proudly served his country for 20 years participating in the Berlin Airlift and the Korean War, then retired after 19 years from TWA as an aircraft mechanic.

Memberships include Country Meadow Baptist Church, VFW Post 1736, and Masonic Lodge 76. Independence, Mo

He was preceded in death by sisters Atha Bledsoe and Sarah Davis and brother Noland Duke. Survived by his loving wife, Norma Jean of 54 years. Children, Barbara Harrington(Stan), Steve Corbin, (Lora) Phyllis Viers (Blain), Cathy Matney (Ken), James Corbin, Richard Corbin (Julie), Diana Caswell, Rene York, (Daryl), Terri Campbell (Chris) Michelle White (Richard), Janice Corbin (Chris). 22 grandchildren, and numerous beloved great grand children and great great grandchildren.
