Terrence Block

Terrence James Block, 86, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on April 25, 2021 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Regis Church on June 17, 2021 at 11am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Regis Academy, St. Regis Church or Bennett Springs State Park.

Terrence was born on March 25, 1935 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lawrence and Leonne Block. He was a loving father, doting grandfather, and friend. Terry was a cross country All- American at Michigan State University and graduated in 1957. He served in the army from 1958-1961, with honorable discharge. Terry worked for Warwick Paper Company for many years until retirement. Terry was an active volunteer at St. Regis school, and an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Leonne Block, his sister; Cheryle Cochran, his brothers; Robert “Bob” Block, Richard “Dick” Block and Craig Block. He is survived by his five children; Michael (Renee) Block, Jeffrey Block, Karen (Anthony) Caruso, Diana (Scott) Harrel, and Julie (Brandon) Thorpe, and ten grandchildren; Dylan, Landon, and Katie Block, Madison and Dominic Caruso, Isabelle and Luke Harrel, and Wyatt, Beau, and Zoey Thorpe.
