Steven Matthew James, 30 years old of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on November 10, 2016.
Steven was born January 9, 1986 in Mount Holly, New Jersey to Dale and Jodie James. He was a graduate of Raymore-Peculiar High School and trade schools as an engine performance specialist. He was currently working as a specialty High Lift operator. Steven’s hobbies included shooting pool, reading, and playing video games. Steven was a proud uncle who adored spending time teaching his 6 year old nephew, Christopher, the art of riding horses.
Steven is survived by his parents, Dale and Jodie, his brother John, and his sister Nicole. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, MaryAnn Richards and paternal grandparents, Dorothy Sharp and Ernest Rucker and step-grandfather Hans Scheitzow. His extended family also includes many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery in Kanas City, Missouri. Visitation will be on November 12th at 9:00 A.M. with Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. Interment will immediately follow.
