Stephen Spence Langley, a beloved husband, father, and friend, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his wife and children, in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 15, 2024. Born on January 15, 1953, Steve's life was a tapestry woven with diverse experiences, having lived in various locales throughout his youth. He graduated from pharmacy school, where he met his beloved wife, Joanne Marie (Perry) Langley.

Steve was not just a dedicated pharmacist; he was a creative soul who opened a record store and founded a successful pharmacist service. His love for music was evident in his guitar playing and songwriting, often sharing his passion at local venues with various bands or simply with his wife. His passions extended to tennis, skiing, golfing, and cycling.

Steve was deeply involved in his community, coaching little league baseball and managing his adult softball team, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship. His dedication to coaching inspired in his players the values of teamwork and perseverance. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; his children, Adam Spence Langley and Sarah Marie (Langley) Reilly; and his siblings, Mary Luanne Langley and Stan Edward Langley.
