Sharron Johnson

Sharron Ann Johnson, 77, passed away August 18, 2021.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, August 23, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 MO-150, Lee’s Summit.

Sharron was born on February 12, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, to Jack and Lucille (Bishop) Hardaway.  She was a very creative person; she loved crafting, quilting, and coloring.  She excelled at cooking and baking, enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and being in nature.  She was kind, patient, and had the best times laughing with her sisters.  More than anything, Sharron’s greatest joy was being a wife and best friend to Don and being the mom and grandma of her family.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lucille Hardaway; a sister, Saundra Blackmon; and a grandson, Aaron Varnadore.  She is survived by her loving husband, Donald, of 46 years; children:  Annette Holbert (Kevin), Billy Marc Varnadore (Jeanette), Donna Morgan (Todd), Jason Varnadore (Sande), and Michael Varnadore (Melissa); grandchildren:  Krystal, Maverick, Logan, Layne, Gavin, Alina, Andrew, Malorie, Morgan, Michaela, Matthew, Jack, Dylan, and Alecia; three great grandchildren; sister, Valarie Sanders; brother, Mike Hardaway (Frances); and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
