Sharon Lyn Nuckolls

Sharon Lyn Nuckolls, 79 yrs old, passed on January 28th, 2025.

Sharon was born on November 1st, 1945, to Mildred and John Ross. She was the baby of three girls:  Older sister Joanne, middle sister Donna Sue, and Sharon Lyn.

She had a small but close knit family. She attended Ruskin and graduated from Raytown High School. She married her life long love, Earl "Rusty" Nuckolls on November 28th, 1962. They welcomed their first child, Russell Bryan, on June 20th, 1963. They lived in Greater Kansas City and Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they had horses and farm animals, and loved being outdoors. Their second child, Shawnna, was born in January 1970. They bought and built their home in Lone Jack, Missouri, and have lived there for the last 26 years.

Sharon worked the majority of her career at Honeywell Federal Manufacturing, where she had several close girlfriends. 

In her spare time she loved vacationing all over U.S. with Rusty and spending time with her grandchildren: Justin, Nicole Marie, and Ryan Nuckolls, and the baby of the family Ashly Bernardi. She also has four great grandchildren: Lochlan Ryan Nuckolls, Olivia and Grayson Testerman, and Harlie Bernardi. 

Sharon will be missed by all, but her husband Rusty, son Russell, sister and best friend Donna, daughter Shawnna, son-in-law Damon, and granddaughter Ashly will miss her the most.
