Sarah Puls-Whipkey

Sarah Puls-Whipkey, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and, passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 48. Born on July 4, 1976, Sarah was known for her infectious spirit and her deep love for family and friends.

Sarah cherished every moment spent with her family, no matter the occasion. Her enthusiasm for life was particularly evident during the Christmas season when she celebrated the joy of gift-giving with a heartfelt passion. Her family remembers how she spent all year planning for the holiday season. This time of year embodied her warmth and love, which she generously shared with those around her. Although Bryan and Sarah were not able to legally get married, they did have a wedding ceremony conducted by their friend on August 4th.This was a beautiful ceremony that the pair cherished. 

Left to carry on her memory are her loving fiance, Bryan Schmitt, and their three cherished daughters, Alexa, Payton, and Isabella Schmitt. Sarah is also survived by her  father, Harold Puls, and her older sister and brother-in-law Renee and Wes Jones. Sarah is also survived by her Fiance's family;  Bryan's parents Robert and Theresa Schmitt, as well as Bryan's siblings Mike Schmitt, Scott Schmitt, and Beth Schmitt. Sarah is also remembered by her beloved nephews and nieces, JJ Jones, Judd Jones. Sarah was close with Bryan's nieces and nephews, who remember her fondly, Andrew Schmitt, Zach Schmitt, Austin Schmitt, Marissa Schmitt, Layla Gasimalla, and Amir Gasimalla.

Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Puls, whose memory she carried in her heart.

As we remember Sarah E. Whipkey, let us celebrate the joy she brought into our lives, the love she had for her family, and the warmth she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Sarah will be deeply missed by not only Bryan's family and friends, but all who she touched throughout her life.
