Mr. Ronald Lau

Ronald C. Lau, 71, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Research Medical Center. Ron was born on December 25, 1941. He served as President of JABRAL, Inc., a corporation his parents started in 1961, from 1975 until his retirement in 2007. He also served on the BAC Local Union 15 Welfare Fund as an Employee Trustee from 1989 to 2012. Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Lau, his daughters, Heidi (Dwayne) Lambeth of Greenwood, MO, Holly (Mario) Cathy of Kansas City, MO, and Karie (Mike) Lau of Lee's Summit, MO, grandchildren, Devin and Drew Lambeth, Brandon and Amber Meyer, Tanner and Emilie Glasper and Tyson Cathy, 5 great-grandchildren, brother, Jerry (Cathy) Lau of Littleton, CO and sister, Linda (Jim) Mills of Lee's Summit, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Verna Lau of Raytown, MO. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 11am to 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm at Newcomer's Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery, 12700 South Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO 816-761-6272. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Research Hospital for all the care given to Ron.
