Robert “Bob” Bruce Lyon, 55, Grandview, MO passed away on Oct 24, 2015 at home.
Bob was born on May 21, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, the third child to Vernon and Elnora (Maus) Lyon. He worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Harrisonville, MO for 10 years. He was raised in Grandview, Missouri. Bob always had a strong faith in Christ throughout his life. He was a diehard fan of the KC Chiefs and the KC Royals and win or lose, he never hesitated to watch and cheer for his teams.
Bob was preceded in death by both of his parents and father-in-law. He is survived by the love of his life for the past 38 years, Gina, and they have been married for 32 of those years; two children: Nicole and Joshua; his siblings, Jerry O’Dell, Clay Lyon, and Diana Schultz; along with many others who viewed him as a son, dad, brother, uncle, and papa.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct 28th, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, with visitation from 6:00-7:00 pm.
