Richard Paul Deiters, Jr., 72, of Belton, Missouri passed away on April 17, 2019 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, Missouri.
Richard was born on October 18, 1946 to Richard P. Deiters, Sr. and Martha Deiters in Cincinnati, Ohio. After high school, Richard joined the United States Marines, beginning his service in 1965 and retiring in 1985. That retirement did not last long before he went to work for DST in 1985 and retired again in 2006. He enjoyed working with the Marine Corp League and Toys for Tots, as well as, volunteering with St. Joseph Hospital. He rarely knew a stranger, often talking with anyone passing by, so saying he will be missed by all who knew him could not be truer.
Richard leaves behind his wife, Janice Deiters; his sons, Richard Deiters, III and Matt Deiters; his grandson, Cody Deiters; his father, Richard Deiters, Sr.; his brothers: Carl Deiters and Marty Deiters; and his sisters: Regina Edwards and Marilyn Magill; as well as many extended family and friends.
