Paul Klavetter

Paul E. Klavetter, 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 9, 2014, At Research Medical Center Vitas Unit, Kc. Mo., after a long illness. He was born on November 20, 1956, in Milpitas, Ca, son of Donald and Betty (O’Neal) Klavetter. He was preceded in death by his parents. Paul leaves three brothers, David, of Raymore, Mo, Mark (Barbara) of North Kansas City, Mo, Daniel of Olathe, Ks; two sisters, Judith (Jeffery) Blanton, of South Africa, Grace (Allen) Nichols of Raymore, Mo; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Paul served in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation, learning computer skills that he utilized throughout his career. He enjoyed nature, the outdoors, sports, and especially, fireworks. He loved watching football and was an excellent pinochle player. He liked to partner with his brother David. Funeral services will be held Monday October 13, 2014 at 10 a.m., Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery, with burial immediately following at Longview Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. at the chapel.
