Mrs. Nancy Shepard
December 2, 1942 — February 4, 2008
Nancy J. Shepard age 65, passed away, Monday February 4, 2008 at Sweet Life at Rose Hill Assisted Living, Shawnee, Kansas.
Nancy retired from the Associated Wholesale Grocers, where she devoted 25 years of service. During her years of service she earned the title of the first female meat buyer. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kansas City, Kansas and a member of PEO. Nancy received her Bachelors in Business from St. Mary?s University in 1989. In the last 10 years she enjoyed traveling, some of the few places she was fortunate to visit are France, Scandinavia, Russia and Italy. Her greatest accomplishment and joy was being a devoted mother and grandmother.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles. Survivors include daughter; Lori Williams and husband Cory of Greenwood, MO, son Steven Shepard and wife Barb of Shawnee, KS; son David Shepard wife Karla of Mission, KS; seven grandchildren Austin, Danielle, Melissa, Sarah, Jackson, Kathleen and Charlie; her sister Barbara Wood and cousin Marty Koehn.
