Nancy S. Krause 68, of Grandview, MO passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 , with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 26, 2009 at DW Newcomer Son’s Longview Funeral Home 12700 S. Raytown Rd. KC,MO 64149. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Foundation 10580 Barkley St. Overland Park, KS 66212.
Nancy was born June 5, 1940 in Little Blue, MO, the 12th child to Marvin and Ruth Brown. She loved bowling, crocheting, plastics canvas and spending time with her family and many friends. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, 10 of her siblings and her step-son Michael Krause.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years Joe Krause, of the home, her 7 children, Candice Fares of Grandview, MO, Leroy Auger Jr. and wife Debbie of Peculiar, Theresa Burnett and husband Don or Urbana, MO, Brenda Auger of Memphis, TN, Martin Krause and wife Karen of Drexel, MO, Kimberly McMillin of Kansas City, MO and Elizabeth McCright of Belton, MO; 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; her only surviving sister Phyllis Gibbons of Galatin, MO; many nieces, nephews and friends she so loved.
