Nancy Palma Hegarty, 82, of Grandview passed away on October 3, 2016 at her home.
Nancy was born on March 25, 1934 to Sebastiano and Carmela Pagliaro in Omaha, Nebraska. She was married to Haryl Hegarty on June 1, 1957, who preceded her in death. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and sharing her love of Italian cooking with them.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Kathleen) Hegarty, Denise Lewis, and Lori (Daniel) Skrezyna; her grandchildren: Corene Lewis, Timothy Lewis, Rachel (Cameron) McCormick, Hannah Hegarty, Hayley Skrezyna, and Mason Skrezyna; and her sister, Sara Moore. She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Pagliaro and her sister, Melina Gomez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct 6th from 6:00 – 8:30 pm and a funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct 7th at 2:00 pm, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery.
