Mildred Sands

Mildred L. "Millie" Sands, 83, of Grandview, Missouri passed away at home on August 2, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Millie was born on August 13, 1937, the oldest daughter of Eldon and Ruth Kreisler in Lincoln, Missouri.

Mildred grew up in Sedalia, Missouri and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School.  Later she met and married her true love Ralph Sands. She loved to go bowling, play bingo, traveling, and going to the casino with her husband. Mildred’s absolute favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, they were her world.

Mildred was preceded in death by her Parents Eldon Kreisler and Ruth (Wahlers) Kreisler, Brothers Charles, Gene, Robert, Dennis, and James, Sisters Mary, and Anna.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Ralph Sands. Sons Michael of Grandview, MO, Mark (Mary) of Raytown, MO, Randy (Jeff) of Robbinsdale, MN as well as her 3 Grandchildren, Ryan (Tonya) of Buffalo, MN, Rachel (Steve) of Grandview, MO, Jason (Michelle) of Lenexa, KS. 11 Great Grandchildren and many other nieces, and nephews who adored their Aunt Millie. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Services for Mildred will be held Thursday August 5, 2021, at Longview Funeral Home- 12700 SE Raytown Road, Kansas City Missouri, 64149 with Visitation from 10am to Noon followed by a Graveside service.
