Mark Fredrick Merryfield, formally of Grandview, MO, passed away March 6, 2016 at the age of 57 in Spokane, Washington.
Mark was born May 2, 1958 to George and Helen Merryfield of Grandview, MO. He attended Grandview schools for 12 years, where he was very active in sports. He was Grandview High School’s Athlete of the Year in 1976. Mark was employed by ADM for 33 years, where he was General Manager of the Spokane Mix Plant.
Mark is survived by his wife, Kay, of the home; daughter, Sarah (Michael) Lowenberg, step-children: Larry (Robin) Mills, and Nanette (Rob) Wemhaner; 4 grandchildren; and his parents. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Merryfield.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149, with the visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Interment will take place on Monday, March 14th at 2:00 pm in Dyer Cemetery, Dyer, AR.
