Marjorie E. Barth, 92, of Lee’s Summit entered into her eternal home on June 22, 2016.
Marjorie was born in December of 1923 to Earl and Ruth Hadley in Marietta, Ohio. She was a registered nurse most of her life, working in many different disciplines throughout her long career. Marjorie married in March of 1946 to Duane Barth, they enjoyed almost 55 years together. She loved traveling, spending time with her family, playing the organ, and working for Mary Kay in her retirement years. She remained active in her church, Lee’s Summit United Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Cameron; her parents; and her sister, Joan. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Georgia Cline; her son, Brad (Pam) Barth; her grandchildren: Sean, Candice, Sherri, and Carol; and her great-grandchildren: Taylor, Joseph, Lauren, Colin and one on the way, Rebecca Cameron Ruiz.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27th at 1:00 pm at The Summit Church, 114 SE Douglas St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063, with a visitation one hour prior at 12:00 pm. Memorial donations are suggested to The Summit Church Building Fund.
