I know how much Sue meant to so many people. I am sad that we will not be able to enjoy her beautiful soul anymore, but I am truly happy that her fight with cancer was quick and painless.
Sue left us on Thursday November 29th at 5:45 pm at our loved home, the home we filled with memories from our wonderful trips and true love. We were with her, Matt, Judy, Bob, Tracey and I. Right at the end when her lungs were finally failing, she turned her head towards me and opened her eyes for the first time in days and she looked deep in my eyes, like so many times we have done before, and with a smile on my face I told her it was time, I thanked her for all she did for me and she thanked me for all I did for her, and we both knew that our love will last for ever.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, mentor, teacher, giver and she lived her life full of love for all surrounding her.
The angels of heaven finally received her and right now they are going to start the wonderful journey I started with her 17 years ago.
