Marguerite Irons

November 5, 1929 — July 30, 2017

Marguerite Faye (Clary) Irons, 87 years of age, was born Nov. 5, 1929 to Roy D. Clary and Inez Palmer Clary in Harrisonville, Mo. and peacefully passed July 30, 2017 at the Riverbend Heights Health and Rehab in Lexington, Mo. after battling Alzheimer’s disease.

Marguerite married Edwin (Eddie) Norman on March 21st, 1957, and he preceded her in death in 1969. She went on to marry D.A. Irons on June 4th, 1970, and he preceded her in death in 2007. She was an owner of All Purpose Kaps in Blue Springs, MO before their retirement to the Lake of the Ozarks. She was also a member of the Oak Grove First Baptist Church.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two brothers: Lyle C. Clary and Roy D. Clary Jr.; and four sisters: Lucille Burris, Lois Wesley, Madeline Appelgate, and Rowena Sims. She is survived by four daughters: Charlotte (bill) Shepard of Warrensburg, MO, Sharon (Bob) Madrigall of Basehor, KS, Terrie Schuster of Odessa, MO, and Vicki Fairfax of Fairfax, VA; one son, Steve (Carol) Norman of Warrenton, VA; six grandchildren: Brian (Valorie) Shepard, Jason Miller, Timothy Miller, Tina (Tom) Hall, Jordan Schuster, Aaron Schuster, Rick (Theresa) Shepard, Tina (Chris) Curnutt, Joseph (Jennifer) Fairfax, Robert (Stacey) Fairfax, William (Lindsey) Norman, and Jennifer (Robert) Norman Renaud; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters: Joyce (Vernon) Guilford and Alta Elaine Clary; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wed. Aug 9, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with the service immediately following at 2pm, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery.
