Mr. Leo Hamilton

Leo George Hamilton, 84 of Kansas City, Mo. passed away March 25, 2011. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29th from 11-12pm, at Newcomer’s Longview Funeral Home. Funeral Services to begin at 12pm, Tues., at the funeral home with burial in Longview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Legion. Leo was born February 8, 1927 in Warren County, Iowa to Clarence and Elsie (Doherty) Hamilton. He was a member of Terrace Lake Methodist Church, a WWII Veteran and a member of Legion 598. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years June (Lester) Hamilton, sons Rodney (Sherrie) Hamilton, Clifford (Lynn) Hamilton, and Stuart (Bonnie) Hamilton, grandchildren Cory, Cristi, Daniel, Brittany and Genifer, great grandchildren Jacob and Abby, sister’s Alberta Ruble and Lorna Wright, brothers Herbert “Swede” Hamilton and Benjamin Hamilton.
