Juanita J. Norris, 68, of Raymore passed away on June 21, 2016.
Juanita “Bo” was born to Jack & Martha Vaught on February 25, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. She spent her career working as a Systems Administrator for the IRS, where she retired from in 2007; she was fortunate to make lifelong friends during this journey. Juanita married Donald Lee Norris in Oct of 1978, who preceded her in death in 2013. Juanita’s number one love was her family and the time she was able to spend with them; however, she will be remembered for her love of swimming, baking pies, playing cards, birds, George Jones, and making holidays a memorable experience for the entire family. Don and her were fortunate to purchase a lake home at the Lake of the Ozarks and spent many summers enjoying the family and friends who visited. They always enjoyed a nice golf cart ride together.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Jim Vaught and Diane Sledge. She is survived by her three daughters: Terri Hazelwood, Susie (Kelly) Gaster, and Diane (Mike) Kormanec; her 10 grandchildren: Jonathan, Stephanie, Christy, Nicole, Austin, Alexis, Shelby, Valissa, Rylee, and Addison; her great-grandson, Michael Doyle; her siblings: Larry Vaught, Jack Vaught, Marty Krekovich (known also as her best friend), and Charlie Vaught; and many nieces and nephews.
