Janna Stringberg

Janna Lynn Stringberg, 63, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on April 8, 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Jan was born on May 17, 1954 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Alden and Joyce (Curtis) Cady. Jan married David Stringberg on March 5, 1977. In her retirement, she found a passion in motorcycles and riding, which led to an active involvement in several groups, which included Show Me Riders, Women on Wheels, Polar Bear Club, Harley Owners Group (HOG), and Ladies of Harley (LOH). She will be remembered mostly as being a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and a devoted motorcycle enthusiast.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband, David Stringberg and her mother, Joyce Odell. She is survived by her children: Jennifer (Ric Minks) Lewis and Darren (Kristina Crawford) Stringberg; step-daughter, Tina Stringberg; her grandchildren: Sebastien, Jordan, Jeramiah, Hannah, Sarenity, Blake, Dalton, and Dalani; her father, Alden; and her siblings: Bruce Cady and Sherryl Lukens.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, with a funeral service being held at 1:00 pm, all at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. Interment will be immediately following in Longview Cemetery.
