Howard Green Sr.

Howard Green Sr., 90 years old, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on July 31, 2020 at Redwood Nursing Home. Howard was born on September 10, 1929 in Menifee, Arkansas to the loving union of Columbus & Savannah Green. Howard moved to St. Louis, Mo in 1964 and was self employed with his own Landscaping and maintenance business.

Howard married the love of his life Majlean Simpson in 1948 and from that union were blessed with eight children. Howard love spending time with his family and friends listening to music and sharing memories. He was always a joy to have around.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents Columbus Green and Savannah Watson. His Sons Howard Green Jr. and David Green. His great grandchildren Alfran Gant, Marcus Gant, and Howard Green III. His Siblings Milton Watson, Harvey Green, Willie Green, Tc Green and sister Mary Sanders.

Howard is survived by his daughters Bettie J. Hopkins, Anne Brown, Lenora R. Jones, and Elizabeth A. Green. Sons Robert C. Green and William Green, brother Leroy Sonny Randolph, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 33 great great Grandchildren.

Services will be head at Longview Funeral Home August 8,2020 with Visitation 9-11AM with funeral service to follow at 11AM. Private family Burial on Monday August 10,2020 at Forest Hill Cemetery
