Henrietta "Hank" Hill

Henrietta “Hank” Hill, 72, of Independence, passed away on December 30, 2017 at John Knox Hospice House in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by services at 11 a.m. Friday, January 5 at Longview Funeral Home,12700 SE Raytown Rd., Kansas City, MO 64149.
Hank was born in Chillicothe, Missouri to Henry and Mary Doss on January 27, 1945. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1963. She worked in the trucking industry for most of her career and retired from Diamond International in 2014.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her father, Henry; and her sister, Sharon.
Henrietta is survived by her three children: Shelley (Shane) Terhune of Savannah, MO; Stephanie (Scott) Fischer of Independence, MO; Jeff (Lisa) Hill of Lee’s Summit, MO; Brothers: Gary (Linda) Doss, Ronnie Doss, Steve (Beth) Doss; Grandchildren: Josh (Ian) Hollingsworth, Tyler Hollingsworth, Ben Hollingsworth, Jacob Fischer, Megan (Sal) Fischer, Morgan Fischer, Laine Hill, Lia Hill and Grant Hill; Great Grandchildren: Anthony, Gabriella, Layla and Nathan; Best friends: Judy Orr, Charlene Neuhaus Marquess, Pat Flinn, Judy Mitchell and Ladonna Collins.
