Gregory Hunsucker

Gregory Hunsucker, 62, of Wellsville, KS found eternal peace on June 29th 2019, after a long illness.

Gregory Hunsucker was born October 22nd 1956 in Kansas City, KS to James and Shirley Hunsucker. Greg was a lifelong Electrician and very proud of his local IBEW, he loved music (frequently playing it very loud), he was very patriotic, loved the Marines and enjoyed a simple life.

Gregory Hunsucker was preceded in death by his Father, James R. Hunsucker; Stepfather, Sheldon P. Sandler; Brother, James R. Hunsucker Jr.; Wife, Sharon M. Hunsucker; Stepson, Steven Moore; and all of his grandparents.

He leaves as his legacy three children: Greg Hunsucker II (Lacy), Crystal Hunsucker Page (Richard), and James Moore. He also leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Shirley Hunsucker Sandler and sister, Sarah Hunsucker Diehl (Paul). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Laura, Katie, Austin, Paityne and many more that 'called' him Pappy; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 4:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149, with a visitation beginning one hour prior at 3:00 pm.
