Gaye Francisco

Gaye Ellen Francisco, 85, passed away on June 27, 2021 at Jefferson Health Care in Lee’s Summit.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10 from 1-3pm at Southview Baptist Church, 8015 Sterling Avenue, Raytown.  Inurnment will take place at 10am on Monday, July 12, at Longview Cemetery.

Gaye was born on December 22, 1935 in Kansas City to Audrey Russell McClure and Georgia Gertrude Colbert McClure Sherpy.  She was a 1954 graduate of Central High School and attended Longview College.  She married Leonard Samuel Francisco on January 30, 1954 and had two children, James Patrick Francisco, Sr. in 1963 and Lora Sue Francisco in 1964.  Gaye is also survived by five grandchildren and their families, which include seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Arlene Mendleson.

Gaye was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Russell McClure.

In her spare time, Gaye enjoyed computers, but above all she loved the Lord.  She will be dearly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
