Frank Baute, a dedicated husband and father, passed away on June 16, 2024, in Plano Texas leaving behind a legacy of hard work and determination. He was known for his love for the Chicago Cubs, a passion that brought joy to his life. Frank worked in the Tool and Die industry as a CNC Machinist in Chicago for over 20 years. Frank had a thirst for knowledge and was a self-taught man who fearlessly delved into anything he desired to learn.
Throughout his life, Frank touched the hearts of many with his loyalty, unwavering faith, and an incredibly friendly nature that made everyone feel like family. He never met a stranger, always ready to lend a helping hand or a kind word. As Frank encountered various health challenges, he always found comfort and strength in his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
One of Frank's proudest accomplishments was being a father and Poppy. His love and dedication extended to his surviving family: his beloved wife Karen Baute, cherished son Jacob Baute, daughter-in-law Christina Baute, granddaughters Zoe and Daisy. In this difficult time of loss, they find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
Frank's journey will be honored at services held at Longview Funeral Home in Kansas City, Missouri. The visitation will take place on June 26, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The final goodbye will be said at Longview Cemetery during the burial ceremony starting at 12:00 PM.
In addition to his immediate family, Frank is remembered by his mother Mary (Orest) Brezden, brother Jeff Baute along with fiancèe Carol Schmitt, sisters Kim (William) Kurth, Michelle Empson and their respective families.
Outside of work and family life, Frank found joy in camping and fishing adventures with his son. From fishing trips to Bayview Lodge in Canada to Lake Fork in Texas where he spent his later years enjoying the serenity of nature. Memories created during trips to Port Clinton in Ohio or Lake Shelbyville in Illinois were treasured moments. And let's not forget Cherokee Lake which held special significance as it was where it all began - family bonding and watching generations grow.
Frank Baute will forever be remembered as a strong pillar of love and support for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Frank is preceded in death by his father Frank Elwood Baute.
Rest in peace, Frank Baute – a man whose kindness knew no bounds and whose spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
