Frances Sargent, 83, of Grandview passed away on August 22, 2016.
Frances was born on March 9, 1933 to Homer & Edna Smith in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She was an active member of Belvidere Heights Baptist Church. She will be most remembered for being a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Sargent, and her parents. She is survived by her children: Marie (Stephen) Gardner and Mike (Deborah) Sargent; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 10:00 am at Longview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery.
