Elsie Mae White, 94 years young of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Lee’s Summit Hospital.
Else was born on January 22, 1922 in Mt. Holly, NJ to Harvey L. Carter and Marian E. Emmons. Else worked for Katz Drugs, which later became Skaggs, for 25 years, she retired on April 18, 1985.
Elsie’s hobbies were traveling, which she took several bus trips with church groups and friends. She loved to dance and listen to Big Band Music. She liked to crochet and make afghan’s for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, putting together puzzles, doing word searches and reading.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband’s: Harry Moore and Manual White; 2 children: Johnny Endicott and Patricia Endicott-Miller. Elsie is survived by two sons: Dick and Bob Endicott; two daughters: Dolores Reed and Yvonne Crow; 15 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; and 24 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Loma Vista Church on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation at 10:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at the Longview Cemetery.
