Edwin "Jim" Erickson

Edwin James “Jim” Erickson, 80, of Lee’s Summit Missouri passed away on August 20, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. Jim was born on June 13, 1940 in Ottawa, Illinois to Edwin and Violet Erickson. As a young child his parents moved to the Green Bay, WI area where he grew up. Jim spent 34 years working as a successful  National Sales Manager for Pfizer Inc  in their Animal Health Group. After being relocated to the Kansas City area for work, Jim continued to be a loyal Green Bay Packers’ fan and was a shareholder for the Packers’ football franchise. He also was a classic car enthusiast, having owned several classic cars and trucks over the years. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and son, Scott Edwin Erickson. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Karin; daughter, Beth; grandchildren, Kamryn (Jake) and Ryan; and great grandchildren, Westin, Tinsley, and Jade. Interment services will be held at Nicolet Memorial Park in Green Bay, WI on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11:00am. There will be a Celebration of Life Visitation outdoors at 24501 E. Langsford Rd in Lee’s Summit, MO on September 12 from 1:00-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Green Bay Packers Foundation or to Wayside Waifs.
