E. Jeanne Moffatt, 85, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away August 30, 2013. Jeanne, loving wife of Robert L. Moffatt, is survived by her husband, daughters Kathy and husband Steve Gray; Karen and husband Van DeHaven, and son James and wife Carol. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Bobbie and husband J.D. King, Susanna Jeanne DeHaven, William Moffatt and Anna and husband Joseph Drexelius, and three great-grandchildren Allyson King, Matthew King, and soon to arrive Siegfried Moffatt Drexelius. Her brother, John R. Sacks of Mason, OH, and her sister, Joan Varner of Olathe, KS, survive her. Jeanne leaves a heritage of devout and strong faith in God. Her courageous stand for the Kingdom of God has impacted thousands around the world. She was born to the late Claude and Clara Sacks on July 16, 1928 in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1946 and from Emporia State Teachers College in 1950 with a Bachelors of Education Degree. She received her Masters of Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 1976. She married Robert L Moffatt on August 12, 1950. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Jeanne was a Kindergarten teacher for many years and a Master Teacher in the North Kansas City School District. Jeanne and Robert served as lay leaders and ministers in many churches in Kansas and Missouri. Jeanne and Robert, members of World Revival Church of Kansas City, were ordained ministers through World Revival Network. They spent their retirement years as missionaries to Thailand and Burma as the Oversees Representatives and Coordinators. Their international ministry took them to England, Australia, Guatemala, Mexico, Singapore and Malaysia. They saw miracles of healing and transformed lives everywhere they went. The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 4th, followed by her memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery.
