In loving memory of Dorothy Lillian Clarkson (88), who went to be with the Lord on November 15th, 2016, with her family and husband of 71 years by her side. Even though she suffered with chronic pain for a number of years before her death, her faith in God never wavered.
Dorothy was born December 26, 1927 in Rich Hill, Missouri to Alfred and Mable Bear. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Robert Clarkson; three daughters: Sharon Stokes, Jan (Robert) Thomas, and Dawn Harmon; one grandson, Stephen (Amy) Craig; two great-grandchildren, Haylen and Zander Craig; and one brother, Ralph (Shirley) Bear.
Dorothy spent her working time at a law firm, manager of an employment agency, and a manager of Olan Mills portrait studio. Her main passion was running a home which included raising three daughters and often her grandson. Dorothy had a strong love for the Lord and raised her family to share the same love and to trust in the Lord. Memorial services are to be private at Longview Cemetery.
