Dana M. Norcross

Dana Marie Norcross, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, in Peculiar, Missouri, at the age of 91. Born on February 7, 1934, in Ladue, Missouri, Dana led a life filled with love, creativity, and deep connections with her family and friends.

Dana was a truly one-of-a-kind individual who had a unique way of making everyone feel special. If she loved you, she loved big. This warmth extended to all, as she affectionately called everyone, regardless of age, "kid." Her vibrant personality and nurturing spirit were evident in everything she did. Dana cherished her puppies, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were everything to her and provided endless joy throughout her life. Dana enjoyed watching the birds outside during breakfast and took great pleasure in connecting with her family and friends through long phone calls. This connection was a vital part of her life, as she valued every moment spent with those she loved.

She is survived by her sons, Ric Norcross, Ronny Norcross (Margaret), Todd Norcross (Beverly), her grandsons, Seth Norcross (Jessica), Jordan Norcross, Ian Norcross (Danielle) and Colin Norcross and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Norcross, Madelyn Norcross, Hunter Norcross, and Nathan Norcross. Dana is also survived by her cousins, Dean and Kay Rhodelander, and her cousin, Holly Gilday, and many other cherished family members. 

Dana was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Estha Middaugh; her son, Randy Norcross; her brother, Dwight Middaugh; her dearest friend Virginia Kupersmith, and many of her beloved pets. 

A visitation will take place on March 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at Longview Funeral Home, located at 12700 SE Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Dana M. Norcross will be remembered for her boundless love, creativity, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and her cherished memories will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
