Dale Eagles

Dale William Eagles, 83, of Lee’s Summit, passed away October 2, 2022.  He was born October 29, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to Fletcher and Ruth (Lewis) Eagles.

Dale was a member of the U. S. Army National Guard and Reserves and spent his entire working life as a lithographer for large printing presses.  He married Letah “Kay” on May 15, 1965 and they enjoyed nearly 53 years together before her passing in 2018.  His favorite times were spent at their lake house at Lake of the Ozarks where he fished and boated.  He was a fan of the KC Chiefs, the KC Royals, cheeseburgers and donuts.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Kay; and his sister, Jeanne.  He is survived by two sons, Scott Eagles (wife Amanda) of Missouri and Michael Eagles of Florida; he was a proud Papa to his grandson Emery and his granddaughter Addison; he is also survived by one niece, one nephew, a great niece, a great nephew, and one great great nephew.

A celebration of life for Dale will be held at a later date.  Private interment will take place at Longview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
