Julius Colin Cox, 69, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away October 6, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri. Colin was born on August 13, 1944 in Orlando, Florida to Otis Leon and Ruth Rosalee Cox. Married Sandra Gayle Cleek on June 29, 1969. Well-known custom knife maker and member of the Knifemakers' Guild since 1984. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Colin is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Tammy Cahoon (Byron); son, Greg Cox (Jessica); daughter, Erin Ellibee (Brent); and eight grandchildren (Tyler, Brandon, and Alisa Cahoon; Caleb, Brady, and Macie Cox; Jace and Kamden Ellibee). Viewing Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5-7 pm at the Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S. Raytown Rd. Funeral services Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 451 SW 150 Hwy, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Burial to follow at the Longview Cemetery, 12700 S. Raytown Rd. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa and has touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
