Clifford Steven Uhlig, 72, of Independence, Mo passed away March 28, 2021, at NorthCare Hospice Care with his family by his side.
Cliff was born February 1, 1949, to Jack and Mary Uhlig of Raytown, Missouri, grew up in Raytown, and was a 1967 graduate of RSHS. After retiring from Delta Airlines with 31yrs of service, he went to work with True Green Chem-Lawn for 12 years. He loved to watch all sports; a true KU and Golden State Warriors basketball fan, KC Chiefs football and KC Royals baseball fan, but his true love was golf with such memorable moments playing against Tommy Watson in high school. He loved fishing and going to the Lake of the Ozarks with family.
Clifford is predeceased by his father, Jack, and mother, Mary Uhlig. He leaves behind his brother, Kirk (Kathy) Uhlig; sister, Kris (Russ) Miller; son, Chad (Mary) Eastin; daughter, Shani (Chris) Porter; grandchildren: Chase, Royce, Delaney and Carlie; stepsons, Ben and Daniel; nieces, nephews, and cousins who he all loved dearly, along with many friends from high school and current. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Contributions may be made to NorthCare Hospice House, 2800 Clay Edwards Drive, 2nd Floor, North Kansas City, MO 64116, who provided Clifford’s end of life care. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 2:15pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64138.
