Mr. Carrol Grantham

Carrol E. Grantham, age 77, of Grandview, Missouri passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on December 16, 2009. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20th at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S. Raytown Rd, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral mass to be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church on Monday, December 21st at 10:00 a.m.
Carrol is survived by his loving wife Ninfa of 52 years and his sons, Robert, David and Michael and their families. Carrol was born in Westville, Oklahoma. He was raised in Nevada, Missouri. He enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Essex during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Bendix Corp. for 9 years and later became a pipe-fitter. Carrol was a retired pipefitter from Local 533.
During retirement he enjoyed gardening and selling sports memorabilia and hot wheels at the swap meets and sport shows.
We wish to offer a special thanks to the many nurses at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. They gave special loving care to Carrol in his final days.
