Bradley Rethford

Bradley J. Rethford, 37, of Independence, Missouri died on Sunday October 30, 2022.  He was born in Independence, Missouri on June 21, 1985.

Brad loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and working. He was a window, door, siding and flooring installer until his health declined. He enjoyed watching the Chiefs play and his nieces play soccer and cheer. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and dog Myles.

He will be missed by his father Jonathan Rethford, mother Kris (Ken) Miller; grandparents Gary (Paula) Hightower and Marilyn Simmons; sister Amanda (Anthony Collins) Rethford step-brothers Adam (Kristin) Miller and Brandon Miller; nieces Maniya, Lavaiya and nephew Ja Kari and many other extended family and friends.  Brad was preceded in death by his grandmother Kathleen Hightower.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be held at a later date. His final resting place will be at Longview Cemetery.  If you so desire memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
