Blanch "C.C." Johnson

Blanch “C.C.” Johnson, 71, passed away July 9, 2019.

C.C. was born on December 9, 1947 to Edward Rhodes Sr. and Blanch Palmer in Atlanta, GA. She was a member of Wornall Road Baptist Church for 25 years and enjoyed spending time with all of her friends she made there. She enjoyed making hats, dancing, being the life of the party, and helping anyone out however she could. She donated money to various charities, with Veteran organizations, St. Jude Foundation, and American Cancer Society being her most favorite and close to her heart. C.C. had such a big heart and she will be missed greatly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward; and grandson, Alex.

C.C. is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Jim Terrell and Joshua Teel; brother, Ray Rhodes; sister, Hazel Tate; grandchildren, Cody, Brittany, and Clint; 5 great-grandchildren, Immanuel, Cohen, Lillian, Rayli, and Tamarah; nephews, Kerry, Kevin, and Kent; nieces, Kristi, Kimberly, Karin and Kathy; along with many friends.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, service 2 PM, on Saturday, July 13, at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 Southeast Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149.
