Betty Heimsoth

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Jean Heimsoth on April 28, 2018 at the age of 82. Betty was born on April 6, 1936 in Stover, Missouri.

Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a passion to enjoy life, her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of fishing and gardening with her husband Melvin and spending lots of quality time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Betty will be forever remembered by her three children, Kirby, Andy, and Candace; grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristina, Heather, Melissa, Mitchel, and Lyndsey; great-grandchildren, Braeden, Andrew, Alissa, August, and Roman, plus many brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin and granddaughter Michelle.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3rd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home, 12700 S Raytown Rd, Kansas City, MO 64149. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4th at 1:00 pm at Longview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens, Lee's Summit, MO.
