Ayannah S. Davis, beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece and friend, passed away on October 17, 2024, at the tender age of ten. She was born on January 17, 2014, in Overland Park where she spent her years surrounded with love from her family and friends. Ayannah's vibrant spirit and unparalleled creativity touched the lives of many people including her teachers and friends.
Ayannah had a passion for art ,music, and nature that was evident at an early age. She particularly enjoyed animation on her tablet, drawing, and found joy in exploring various forms of artistic expression. Her enthusiasm for art brought smiles to those around her and inspired her family and friends to embrace their own creativity. She also had a huge passion and love for 80s and 90s music which was indisputable . Her favorite musicians Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 always found a way to bring happiness and joy to her heart. She frequently enjoyed the beautiful sounds of classical music which she shared with her mother. Ayannah became a lover of nature where she spent time fishing and enjoying water sports with her family and friends. Ayannah always carried a tender spot in her heart for animals , especially dogs, which were her favorite.
Ayannah was loved fiercely by her parents, Andrea Williams and Corey Davis. She remains the brightest light in their lives as she lives now in their hearts. She was an adored sister by her siblings Brandon Wainwright, Adavia Davis, Ariel Bolton, and Brooklyn Crawl. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved stepmother Marine Davis and stepfather Johnathan Hendrix. Her most cherished family also includes her grandmother, Adenike Amen'Ra (Queenma), great grandmother Lillie Walker (Mema), a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who held her dear including Yvonne Walker (aunt), Larry Walker (Uncle), Christopher Turner (uncle), Michael Williams (uncle), Makayla Turner (cousin), and Christopher Turner Jr. (cousin).
Ayannah's memory will also be honored by those who have passed before her, including her Gran Gran, Dorothy "Doll" Davis, her grandfather, Charles Davis, and her great-grandparents, Mary and Walter Hill. She is also reunited in spirit with her aunt Marilyn Blake, uncle Trevor Walker, and grandpa Harold Williams.
Ayannah was an incredibly loving and kind soul who held her family close to her heart. Many would say she loved with a fierce loyalty. Ayannah always enjoyed adventures with her best friend who she created many memories with. Ayannah’s kind and caring spirit always filled the hearts of many which will continually be cherished.
A graveside service will be held on November 1, 2024, at Longview Cemetery in Kansas City, MO, starting at 2:00 PM to celebrate the beautiful life of Ayannah. Family and friends are invited to attend and share the love and joy that she brought to all who were fortunate to know her. She will always be forever missed and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
