Arthur Horton

Arthur Joseph Horton, son of Joseph and Ellen Horton was born on September 30, 1938, in Binghamton, New York. He passed away on February 2, 2022, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

On July 23, 1964, Arthur and Alberta married and went on to have five children. He served in the military for three years. He worked for Shawnee Mission School District for 34 years and for Excelsior Springs School District for three years before he fully retired.

Arthur was preceded in death by his father, mother, 3 of his siblings and the love of his life, Alberta.

He is survived by one sibling, his five children and spouses Tammy and Shawn, David and Robynne, Janice and Tommy, John and Donna, and Michael. 21 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all.

Services for Arthur will be Friday February 4, 2022, in the care of Longview Funeral Home & Cemetery- 12700 SE Raytown Road, Kansas City, Mo 64149. Visitation will begin at 10am followed by funeral and graveside at 11am.
